Everyone's life is weird from their perspective.

[Once the waitress heads off, Tobias just sighs.]
Seeing people that perky always makes me nervous. It reminds me of The Sharing, which is the cover organization the Yeerks were using. More Boy Scouty than the Boy Scouts and that kind of stuff.
