foolishwren: it turns out no one appreciated me saying "You got it, boss!" in an old-timey henchman voice every time anybody told me to do something (got kicked out of the BDSM scene)

[Alessa Heather's got a good laugh. Hers is just one of those faces made for smiling... which really makes it all the more pitiful that she never did a whole lot of it. ... At least not in her first life.]

[Things are different now, of course.]

[But at the moment, Heather is staring at Claudia in total surprise, unsure. It's an odd moment, the one she was caught at. Something feels... wrong, almost embarrassing, about being caught in a moment of mirth by the person who had almost singlehandedly destroyed everything she had to smile about two years before. Which is ODD, all things considered... Heather firmly believed-- and would tell this to anyone who asked, no less-- that her ability to keep smiling was many things, but MOSTLY to just show people she COULD.]

[... So why does it give her that weird, squirmy feeling? Especially since Claudia's response is not a sour 'stop having fun' face, but one of delight.]

[HOW DOES I RESPOND TO UNFAMILIAR SITUATION?]

... An... gel?

[It's almost FUNNY, the way she turns her head to Sunny, as though asking HER if she has any idea what Claudia is talking about. WAT!]
