yup!

it's just me and a few tenants, though. everybody helps out around the common areas but i take care of everything else. sometimes we'll have kind of a handyman for a little bit, but they never stay long. they just work here until they can afford their own place.

that's kind of my rule, idk, i just don't like the idea of strange adult men living in a youth hostel?

and thanks. idk how much its really needed now, we haven't gotten any new tenants aside from one temporary in.... a long time.

when i first got here there was rly... nothing

none of us had money at first obviously

immediately all these rich socialites crawled outa the woodwork inviting us right off the streets 2 their parties n shit

especially kids

like theyre still sleazebags now but back then when none of us had anything at all it was REALLY bad

still makes me mad to remember

yeah we've never had anything happen but i want to keep being able to say that. some people get pissed off about that, though! and don't get it when i try and explain that hey, there's a lot of kids here, some of them YOUNG. and they're separated from their families and going through something intense and it's a safer environment without unknown adults lurking around.

ugh, yeah, when i first came there was still a lot of that. the rich people being TOO friendly.

life's messy and scary enough being a kid. yeah, i keep a safe place for kids. and the people here...we're pretty close. it's nice.

i don't blame you. i haven't had anyone get creepy with me in a while, but like the first year maybe after i changed... now i just get a lot of kids asking to pet me. it's weird, people seem less freaked out by me when i'm just a full on talking bear.

dont like it when kids touch me either tho they tend to pull out my feathers

yeah it helps being a bear who's bigger than most humans. and it helps that i have my bear dog now so it's double the teeth and claws.

except half the time even my own friends can't tell me and her apart.

as long as they ask and don't tug, i don't mind the kids. they're usually a lot nicer and less vaguely weird than adults. at least the little ones.

teenagers suck.
