Not even Heather was immune to the excitement that exploded across Johto when swarms of never-before-seen Pokemon started popping up all around the country. Whatever, guy must have his reasons. Heather named the pudgy little cub Scarlet and called it a day.
Full of energy and bearing an enormous appetite for FUN, Scarlet is a happy-go-lucky ray of sunshine who thinks everyone in the world is her playmate. Unsurprisingly, she became instant pals with Cujo. Somewhat more surprisingly, she also latched onto Cleo and apparently thinks the Persian is her long lost big sister. Cleo is thrilled. And by thrilled I mean not thrilled at all. Things Scarlet likes include bright colors, hideous 80's fashion, chasing her tail, and blatantly flirting with every single male Pokemon she meets, which is not particularly effective considering her strategy is usually the HI I'M SCARLET I'M LEVEL 7 AND I ATE A WHOLE PIZZA ONCE, LET'S GET MARRIED!!! type.
Some time later, Heather received a holiday egg which then hatched into, wouldn't you know it, another Litleo! Except this one was SHINY. Truly we live in a blessed world.
Despite not even remotely being from the same litter, Scarlet immediately decided that they were SIBLINGS (tm) and behaves accordingly, often dragging her recalcitrant baby brother along with her on all kinds of misadventures.
Carat is a much shier Pokemon, and could frankly give Godzilla a run for his money in the anxiety department. Unlike Scarlet, who will pretty much look at somebody, decide "That one!", and follow them around for hours, Carat will straight-up hide from people he likes b-b-because what if they hate him. If you spot sparkly round ears poking out from behind the couch or on the other side of a bush, you've probably got a not-so-secret admirer.
