"I haven't... you know, been involved with anyone since I was in high school, and like... on the off-chance that it immediately didn't work out, we thought it'd be less... embarrassing if no one knew? ... And then we found out Scar was gone and Lust was, you know, so we couldn't exactly say anything about it then, and..."
