108. [Video/Action for Mahogany]

[There's been a lot of people leaving lately.]

[Which means a lot of Pokemon left behind.]

[Today's video is brief. Like maybe six seconds long, and it starts outside the PokeMart in Mahogany Town. You know, where delivery people sometimes show up with mail too big to be sent through the PC. Someone else is holding the camera-- possibly Henry.]

[There, sitting right down there in the dirt, is Heather.]

[Surrounded by approximately five million Mightyena.]

[... Okay, more like six.]

WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH ALL THESE DOGS?!!

[End feed.]

I'll say you are. ...No bones about it.

[But, to her credit, shortly thereafter she makes her way to the PokeMart (convenient, considering she was already in Mahogany herself at the time) with a Mightyena of her own at her side — one she happens to know will be happy to see the others, considering he's their brother.

And Murphy Slaw (otherwise known as the Lobocrook) is indeed happy to see everyone, bounding along merrily and looking as though he's about to bolt and dive right in to the puppy-pile himself, save for the fact that Carmen hasn't given him the A-OK to leave her side yet.]

[The bad news is, Carmen can't actually tell the difference between the dogs at a glance, either; she might've, once, but she'd been away for too long, and they'd grown up without her. The good news, however, is that she has full faith in the belief that Harry trained them well, and she knows their names, and she's always had something of a way with dogs — if being able to subdue a guard dog with a SIT and a hand gesture is any indication.]

All right, the six of you. Sit! Jay, Rutledge. Sit, Cushing. Sit, Blair. Wilson, Iredell? Sit!

[And a beat passes, where the seventh — Murphy — cocks his head up and gives his trainer the most positively humanlike, cheekiest grin you've ever seen on a dog, and she rolls her eyes a bit as she regards him as well.]

And the same goes for you, troublemaker.

Fancy meeting you here, Heather.

[And since such good boys and girls deserve such good rewards, she'll just proceed to start smothering them all in attention now — fur-ruffling, ear-scratching, the whole bit.]

I take it you're less than thrilled with your latest acquisitions.

I'm somewhat surprised they didn't come to me, honestly.

[Managing seven eager dogs at once isn't an easy task, but of course, Carmen has never let something failing to be easy slow her down.]

But for some reason, he saw fit to leave me Waldo.
