114. Fourth Wall Post [VIDEO/ACTION FOR ANYWHERE]

.... Yeah.
Yeah, you're in the complete wrong region.
Mount Moon's in Kanto.
[Heather huffs out a sigh and takes hold of Cujo's mane as the wayward Grey and his weird spacedog head back to their spaceship, which had landed conveniently on top of one of the Pokemon Centers, barely even remarkable in the middle of all the other chaos that's happening.]
Man, at this point, the only thing that could surprise me on weekends like this are things staying normal.

I wish I could say that that was the strangest thing I have seen all weekend.
[And it damn well might be. But he's not going to tempt fate. Scar isn't even particularly addressing the woman standing nearby who's just dealt with the... close encounter... but she's nearby enough to hear it.]
no subject
[She looks over her shoulder, quirking her brow. She's never seen Scar's face-- what little communication they've had was through text. So needless to say, she doesn't recognize him.]
Yeah?
These weekends can get pretty nuts, no joke about it.
You probably haven't seen anything yet.

I'd like to think that I have, though nothing should even surprise me at this point.
[Bright orange dogs shoot fire from their mouths. And that's normal. No, Scar, you really shouldn't be surprised at anything.]
This happens frequently, then?
[PLEASE, NO.]

[She pauses, then gives him a significant look.]
Don't let your guard down, though.
Not everything that comes here during weekends like this is harmless.

[He glances sideways at the woman.]
You've been here a long time, then?
[God, that Growlithe is absolutely enormous! It could probably eat Daniel...]
no subject
[At this point it's ceased to be 'almost', she's pretty sure. She doesn't remember the exact date she got here.]
[Cujo continues to be enormous, giving Scar a stupid, happy gaze as his tongue lolls out of the side of his mouth.]
no subject
[And she doesn't seem that old, either. Likely just a teen when she first arrived. Scar continues to eye the Growlithe, pulling open his bag as he speaks to dig out a treat.]
Has everything always been this... peaceful? Discounting times like this, obviously.
no subject
I was one of the first.
[It's weird to think about, and she tries not to do it often. There were a few who were here before her, and plenty who arrived around the same time... but they're all gone now.]
[It gives her a weird, empty ache in her chest.]
But yeah. Mostly.
Evey so often something'll happen to shake things up. Y'know. C'est la vie.

[Four years is a long time, for a young woman. How long would he be stuck here?]
no subject
I've seen some shit in this place.
[Nothing that can compare to home, admittedly, but still not what she'd call entirely harmless.]
But compared to other places...

[Eyes narrowing. Ugh. Isn't this super happy Pokéland where everything is just lovely all the time??]
no subject
That was a blast.

[He knows all about soulless undead people, but not insects.]

Then there was another time a bunch of ghosts made everybody hallucinate.
And then a few years later a bunch of other ghosts kidnapped a bunch of people and took them to some kind of nightmare castle thing.
Or maybe it was the same ghosts.
Hell if I know.
