OOC: CHRISTMAS GIFTS, 2012!
Well, the world didn't end!
YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.
GIFTS GIVEN
-For Harry Mason, she's given him books and writing stuff a LOT, so she decided to switch things up this year to go along with her increased worry over everyone staying safe (plus, Harry doesn't like... train his Pokemon. What will happen if he gets in a situation while she's not around??). As soon as the apocalyptic weather subsided, she went out to the edge of town and caught a WILD Pidgeotto for him. (Don't worry, the Pidgey family is relatively tame). No worries, though... she also got him a couple of books on true Johto crime, and a cute little red Pokemon sweater for Lisa.

HAVE FUN TRAINING THAT, HARRY.
-For Henry Townshend, the usual large mound of crappy discount candy that he loves for some reason, but this time she also got him an Eevee egg. Because... yeah. He needs something a little more cuddly than a clam, a tortoise, a lit candle, and a snotty Glameow. And he always seemed to get along with Cheryl pretty well.
-->
-For Dale Cooper, there's no goofy ice cream gag gifts or edit-filled almanacs this time. Instead, he'll be getting one of these. He'll probably be able to figure out pretty quickly that it's a puzzle (especially since it's likely not the only puzzle he'll be getting)-- the panels on the sides can be slid around, revealing a little pop-out drawer with a tiny key. Once unlocked, the top of the box opens to a hollow space inside, in which she seemingly placed a tiny pot of Pure Incense, as well as a Shell Bell.
-For Crow Hogan, a pair of aviator goggles, a Sharp Beak (because even if he probably already has one, with all those bird Pokemon there's probably no such thing as too many), and a giant pouch of chocolate truffles of varying flavors. There's also a bag of large, sweet sesame seed balls for Gale the Hurricane, as a sort of belated apology for getting him into so much trouble...
-For Kaito Kuroba, a small pouch of Brightpowder (to dazzle his audiences!), chocolate truffles, and a couple of TMs (TM 92: Trick Room and TM 62: Acrobatics).
-For Carmen Sandiego... well, if shit hadn't gone down for EVERYBODY barely a month before, Heather would have risen to the 'Get me something I can't get myself' challenge by recording herself beatboxing Rockapella's famous themesong. And maybe enlisting the help of Zack to turn it into an awesome techno mix. Maybe she'll do that at a later date. But in light of the somber tone of the month, instead Heather went with something surprisingly simple. An invitation to dinner with herself, Harry, and Henry (unless Henry decides to go hide in his sleeping bag instead of going into public). There's, you know, a general bundle of holiday sweets in the deal for Carmen too, but actual gift is supposed to be hanging out with a decent family-- particularly a dad. She may have gone to Coop for help on this.
-For EVERYONE ON THE JUSTICE FARM, she'll be bringing a bunch of cookies for the entire house at some point. Nothing home-made, alas (she doesn't have the time or skill, as she learned the previous year), but still pretty nice. Chocolate-chip for the humans, ginger-snaps for the Pokemon.
-For Ironhide, he'll be getting a nice gift basket of food (with instructions to share with Cliff) like he did last year, but since fighting's been on Heather's mind, she'll also be tucking a Macho Brace in there.
-For Otacon, a Cell Battery for Asimov and some boxes of various-flavored Pocky. There's also a gift certificate for five new apps of his choice for his PokeGear.
-For Jack Skellington, an one of those anatomy puzzles where you get to build a Pokemon skeleton! In the spirit of the holiday, she chose the Stantler one. There's also some candy canes.
-For Envy, they were apparently thinking along the same mental wavelength. She got him a cheesy old-fashioned hat with a giant plume feather and ribbons. Included are a couple Hyper Potions and a Quick Claw.
-For Larry Butz, a hefty volume of Letter-Writing for Dummies. Because that story he told her really cheered her up. There's also Pokemon treats and a bag of chocolate peanut butter cups.
GIFTS RECEIVED
-From JOHTO: a shiny Venipede egg.
-->
-From the departed Claudia Wolf: A very stern Vulpix named Warden.
-From Crow Hogan: A Rufflet egg.
-->
-From Harry Mason: An orange sweater, some candy, treats for her Pokemon, and last but the furthest thing possible from least, a notebook/journal containing a bunch of handwritten stories (nursery stories he told her when he was little, short mystery stories starring a female detective character based on Cybil, and true stories about her childhood(s) and Jodie). ;-; Thanks dad.
-From Henry Townshend: A stack of really nice photos of all her Pokemon, which surprise her because up till now she's only seen him taking pictures of like, upside-down chairs and cracks in the wall and shit.
-From Carmen Sandiego: For use in her Action Teen endeavors, a grappling hook and a survival bracelet made of approximately 500 feet of parachute cord.
-From Envy: A Murkrow-themed knitted winter hat + a small bag of ninja smoke bombs + a silly costume space helmetfrom the FUTURE.
-From Hayate: Gorgeous Growlithe-shaped cookies that she'll be hesitant to eat. TOO PRETTY.
-From Larry Butz: A painting of Heather and all of her Pokemon that Larry knows of. On the back, a message is written in the bottom right corner, "Merry Christmas, Heather. Keep hanging in there. Larry"
-From Jack Skellington: Spooo~oooo~oooky Gengar popsicles which she will terrorize Henry with, and a children's picture book: Seelburt.
-From Dale Cooper: A leather bracelet and two books on Hitmonlee- and Hitmonchan-inspired fighting.
-From Otacon: A jacket with a totally badass Dragonair patch on the back.
Still a work in progress, keep checking back!
