105. FOURTH WALL POST [Action for Saffron City, anywhere in Saffron City! Video's okay too]

[You know what?]

[Heather's not even sure why she TRIES anymore.]

[So done. So done.]

Here we go again.

... Yes, Cooj, I still love you.

Just not right now.

You too.

[It is nice to be here, for a moment of rest from the something that is the houses that keep her trapped. Laura's tired, but she looks better because she's had time to just breathe freely for a while, and she lets her hand drop from Heather's face before she sits down next to her.]

You look sad, though.

[Laura is quiet for a moment, looks out over the city.]

Things have been kind of okay lately.

[She hesitates a bit in that, but she thinks that things are better, and it's something that's okay to admit to Heather because Heather isn't there. So she looks back over at Heather and there's a hint of tension in her shoulders, but you know what. They're confidants, aren't they?]

Hard to believe, right?

It's better than home.

[It's a blunt admission but one that's all too true, so it's ... well, it's said for what it is: fact. Truth. Yet with something almost careful about it.]

[Laura accepts this without fuss and leans on Heather's shoulder for a few moments, appreciating the gesture for what it is. But in the end she pulls away a bit to watch the other girl's face, to shift the focus again back to her. She's concerned, after all.]

What happened here, Maine?
