105. FOURTH WALL POST [Action for Saffron City, anywhere in Saffron City! Video's okay too]
[You know what?]
[Heather's not even sure why she TRIES anymore.]

[So done. So done.]
Here we go again.
... Yes, Cooj, I still love you.
Just not right now.

S'good to see you.
[These weekends have come to be something that Heather dreads, thanks to BOB, but... somehow, this time around, seeing all these familiar faces, whether it's people who have disappeared from Johto or people she knows from beyond, is comforting.]

[It is nice to be here, for a moment of rest from the something that is the houses that keep her trapped. Laura's tired, but she looks better because she's had time to just breathe freely for a while, and she lets her hand drop from Heather's face before she sits down next to her.]
You look sad, though.

[As it is though, she just sighs a little and leans back, spreading her arms across the back of the bench.]
... Yeah...
Things've been kinda rough lately.
... Rough for here, anyway. [A weak grin crosses her face.] Feels kinda weird to say that to you...
[Since... you know... Maison... :I]

Things have been kind of okay lately.
[She hesitates a bit in that, but she thinks that things are better, and it's something that's okay to admit to Heather because Heather isn't there. So she looks back over at Heather and there's a hint of tension in her shoulders, but you know what. They're confidants, aren't they?]
Hard to believe, right?

Heh... yeah, it is, but I guess there's gotta be a few rays of sunshine even in the crappiest places, right?

[It's a blunt admission but one that's all too true, so it's ... well, it's said for what it is: fact. Truth. Yet with something almost careful about it.]

[She's quiet for a second or two... and then shifts the arm onto Laura's shoulders after all. And gives her a squeeze.]

What happened here, Maine?

[So Heather just sort of sighs, loosening her grip from the hug a little bit herself.]
A lot.
.... I was waiting for BOB.
[And then she found out that BOB wasn't coming. Which was all fine and dandy, except she'd also had to say goodbye to Cooper for what was possibly the very last time. That hadn't been fine and dandy at all.]
