"Yo, it's Heather. I'm probably asleep or one of the Pokemon ate my 'Gear or something so I can't answer you right now. But feel free to leave a message or something.
I'll probably get back to you. ... Probably. Peace out."

I'm coming to get you but I won't be there right away so you HAVE to calm down!
[Of course, even as she's shoving things into her backpack one handedly, she can't not notice how much of a mess his face is, and despite her own insistence on calm, she can't disguise the brimming anger in her voice when she asks--]
Did HE do that to you?
[Finally something he can't actually blame on Walter comes up and he averts his eyes.]
No...I--look. Just. I'll be here. I just...you. I have a lot to tell you. We have to be ready.
[Her eyes go to the Jennies.]
[She might not be able to blame them for having to get a little physical when a detainee is hollering about murder, but IF THEY WERE THE ONES WHO BUSTED HIS FACE OPEN...!!!!!]
I know, I'm coming, okay? I'm leaving as SOON as I hang up this call, I'll fly on Hurricane, I'll be there within five hours. I'll be there.
[But before she hangs up, she gives the Jennies a SCOWL.]
If you people lay one FINGER on him before I get there, so HELP me, I'll...!
Alright...
[The Jenny nearest to the camera gives Heather a lifted brow. Oh, please. This wild man did that to himself. She supposes everything will become clear when she arrives. The feed ends.]

[And then, turns to Envy.]
[Who just overheard the entire thing.]
... I, uh... I gotta go.

[But he knows of Walter, he's heard Henry talk about him before. The one who had made all those terrible things happen to his best friend, the one who had been trying to kill him. Envy's face is set in some mix of surprise, worry, and narrow-eyed anger by the time Heather turns to him.]
[He wants to go too. He wants to go make sure that this guy doesn't lay a damn finger on Henry.]
I'll come too.

[As reluctant as she is to part ways, even if it's only temporary, she knows how impractical it would be.]
No, you... you keep going on.
I'll be fastest if I go alone.
Besides, if one of us doesn't make it to Cerulean, we'll have to make this whole hike over again.
no subject
Yeah, guess you're right.
I'll try and come join up with you guys after I hit Cerulean, then.
If he tries anything before I get there, knock some of his teeth out for me, okay?

[But they're far from home, and speed is the name of the game.]
[She's already bending down to finish stuffing things into her pack. Carrying it WILL slow her down, but... she doesn't want Envy to have to lug all her shit through a bunch of CAVES when she's not even there.]
Oh, don't worry.
[Straightening up, she slings her bag over her shoulder. Now that the shock has worn off a little, there's a weird light in her eyes. A cousin of what he saw in his dream when she'd been staring down at his mother. Her voice darkens.]
That man might think he's devout, but if he so much as breathes on Henry, I'll show him what it's really like to have the fear of God put into you.

[He knows he won't have to worry about being a little late, not with Heather there.]
Good.
I'll catch up as soon as I can.
[He grins, but it's not the easy, lighthearted kind he'd normally give her. This grin is sharp at the edges, and the humor behind it isn't really very humored at all.]
With you there, if he tries anything then I know he won't know what hit him.

[Pulling out a Pokeball, she releases Hurricane the Pidgeot in a flash of light.]
I'll call you as soon as I've got Henry back to the house safe and sound. Wish me luck.
