WHAT DOES HE CALL HER?

He calls her Alessa. [ He knew Wolf and Warden and Kite called Heather 'Alessa'. Claudia had pointed out that if she wished to be known as Heather, there must be a reason for it. So they will respect her and call her by her chosen name. But he knew it'd be rude to tell Warden and the others that they should do that too. Just as it'd be rude to try and get them to see Walter as they do, as someone also Important and blessed in a slightly different way. ]

He doesn't know that Heather is Alessa. But he talks about St. Alessa to her, the Volcarona, and tells her how she was special and carried a great burden in being the mother of God. And that he knows she's hurting, but he intends to let her have her chance to repay her suffering onto the people who have been cruel to her.

[ Of course, Walter did teach them of the oldest proverb of all; An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. ]

_{[At that, Wolf actually looks quite emotional. If they've named this Pokemon 'Alessa', she must truly be special.]}

She is! We looked up Volcaronas at Bell Tower, when the dogs were being bad. It said that when the world was covered in ash and darkness, their light was a beacon and served as a replacement for the sun! And that they were born from the sun itself too!

[ He'd be very sad if Wolf had to die for his purpose. He knows that sometimes that's how things have to be; it's what Walter had to do for his purpose; but he doesn't like the idea of the people he loves all hurting themselves. ]

Yeah! And, I know Walter likes your trainer. Even if he doesn't know she's Saint Alessa, he thinks she's very sensible and knows about how mean the priests and priestesses could be.

[ It was very very complicated. Even moreso when he learned more about the Order from Walter's perspective, of angels nicknamed as devils and priests stained red with sin. But there was hope, in Assumption's mind. ]

Me too! My trainer was expecting everyone to fight him. I know...the things that happened to Walter were really, really bad. That's why he's so sad about our Alessa. It makes him remember what people did to him.

[ Which is why they're gonna save her! And make sure she has a chance to get revenge on everyone who hurt her. ]

But, I'll tell you before we free her! And I'll tell her all about you, and your trainer too.

Maybe... [ Assumption couldn't hide that he was uncertain about that. ] She's very, very wary of other people and Pokemon, but maybe after she's free she'll be happier. She talked to me because I was with Walter, and Walter had told her about me.

So I'll make sure I let her know what you and your trainer are like, and that you wouldn't hurt anyone!
