"Yo, it's Heather. I'm probably asleep or one of the Pokemon ate my 'Gear or something so I can't answer you right now. But feel free to leave a message or something.
I'll probably get back to you. ... Probably. Peace out."

[There is absolutely no physically-possible way for Heather to twist around enough to actually see him, but she does shout--]
JOKE'S ON YOU, it's probably a lot harder to flip over when all the weight's on the bottom!
[As for if she'll be able to climb it... after a moment of mental calculation, she starts to SUCCESSFULLY scoot her way up the ladder one arm at a time, keeping her legs clamped around the ladder.]
[It is EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE and may in fact not be possible without a decent amount of upper body strength, but... SHE DINGS THE BELL with more force than necessary.]
[action]
[He also takes a success video of the last few seconds. Which should take some of the ego sting out of all the previous faceplant photos.]
AAAAAND SHE MAKES IT! Confetti flies, everyone at the midway applauds!
[THIS MEANS THE LADDER IS OFFICIALLY SOLVABLE! And also means that his girlfriend is very cool and hot. He moves over to the end of the ladder, holding out a hand if she hasn't already let go of the ladder. No need to faceplant if you win.]
You think it's ready then?
[action]
Oof-- yeah, I think it's ready.
Good job partially un-fuckening your fuckened carnival game.
[action]
Can't have people just able to look up a guide on the network. But this's one down! Now for the other...I don't know...five?
[Five if he doesn't have any extra ideas (or if one of them is just too fuckened).]
...do you have some extra time? I'll delete one of the fall photos if I can get another favor.
[action]
Depends.
I'm not gonna test out a dunk tank, for example.
Unless you're the one getting dunked.
[Now that could be fun...]
[action]
Ugh, no thanks.
No, not the dunk tank anyway. What iffff the favor had to do with balloons?
[Envy has discovered that he hates a lot of things about the modern invention that is balloons.]
[action]
Balloons?
Is this the one with the darts?
[Her interest is piqued, anyway.]
[action]
Yyyeah. With the darts.
[He very nearly has to take a deep breath before muttering out his admission:]
I hate blowing these things up to test this trick it's taking forever and the air pump is missing.
[action]
[Well okay, she can do that too.]
Sure, I can help.
At least for some of it.
[Blowing up that many balloons is kind of a two-person job anyway.]
[action]
YES thank you. Okay it's over here.
[Also she's about to get even better payback than the dunk tank could've been.]
[He leads her over to the big plywood stand-in wall, and pitiful pile of black, green, and purple balloons. None of them is blown up the same amount, and there's more scattered failures--popped shards, sad fist sized orbs with messed up knots, and some scattered unblown ones that didn't manage to even get that far before being dropped on the ground or thrown in frustration.]
You're from the future, you know how to do this with no pump right?
[action]
... Wow. These things really kicked your ass, huh?
[She bends down automatically to start picking up some of the failures from the ground. The longer they stay there, the more likely it is that one of their dumber Pokemon will think they look tasty and then require an emergency Center visit.]
Yeah, I can do it. S'not too different than bubblegum, you just gotta pinch it right. Where're the fresh ones?
[Envy's previous attempts are too lame, they need to start from scratch.]
[action]
Oh, they're over here...
[Mainly just relieved that she agreed, and not eager to also question how to blow bubblegum because fuck if he's ever done that either, he avoids addressing that entirely and picks up the bags of fresh balloons from a little folding table covered in notes and papers, holding them out to her. Surely she will just demonstrate what she means so he doesn't have to admit to anything!]
[action]
[She takes the bag without any particular fanfare and pulls out a balloon. Pinching the end between her teeth, she stretches it out a few times-- and then just blows it up with equally little fanfare. Then she ties it off around one finger. VOILA!]
[It looks extremely easy. :)]
There you go. Nothin' to it.
[action]
[WHAT HE WAS DOING WASN'T THAT DIFFERENT.]
[He keeps a straight face as though he totally gets it. No problem. So easy.]
Yeah, that looks simple enough.
[He takes a balloon out of the bag, and then does not move very fast to blow it up himself. Maybe she'll start blowing up a second one if he takes enough time, then she'll be distracted when he does start!]
