_{[Heather's been scarce. There are a few reasons for this. One, she's sort of embarrassed about having her butt totally kicked by Falkner, and two... she's also kind of totally broke, and doesn't dare try to stay in the Pokemon Center now that she can't afford the hotel. So it's camping ahoy on the outskirts of Violet for her! Needless to say, she's been a bit broody.]

[When the camera comes on, it's dark and she's got a fire going, the flickering shadows lending the solemn look on her face a little gravitas. She notices this right off the bat and wrinkles her nose to dispel the whole 'there is obviously something wrong and I have been sitting here being angsty and weird for a week' look.]}

It's all muggy out here and I don't feel like sleeping. I can't be the only one, so...

_{[She doesn't feel like rambling this time. There's too much on her mind. So she just cuts to the chase.]}

What was everybody doing right before they wound up here in this friggin' place?

_{[She somewhat conspicuously doesn't offer up her own answer, but adds, with a grin that's not too genuine but looks like it is (which is what counts, after all)--]}

[By the little she's seen, she can tell Heather is the type to show her emotions, but...that is all she knows by the talks they had before. Yes, Aerith studies all those around her. She can't let her reading abilities die in Johto.]

Zack? [She goes quiet realizing the name sounded familiar, but she didn't know anyone by that name. Where has she heard that name from? It's on the tip of her tongue, but...Aerith will give her a confused look until she shakes her head.] I don't know anyone by that name, miss. I was talking about my friend Cloud.

_{[Heather is very much the sort to wear her emotions on her sleeve. That's not to say that she hasn't also gotten pretty damn good at masking them with fake ones, but in the end, she's always been somewhat transparent.]

[Aerith's reply got a blink and a slow frown from Heather. ... Wait a sec... Zack was definitely her boyfriend. Did this mean that they'd broken up for real? Because of that... thing? But... dude, even if THAT was what happened, it was pretty dumb to start pretending you didn't know who they were in response to that.]}

Uh... you seriously don't know Zack? Wasn't he your... uh. Never mind.

[Aerith is still confused over the Zack question because she really didn't know anyone by that name. The name does sound familiar and she might have heard it from somewhere, but she doesn't personally know him. Why would she lie?]

No, I don't think so. I only know a small handful of boys and I am sure none of them is called Zack. [She catches what she says in the end.] My what...exactly? Is he a friend of yours?

[She's just as confused about this.]

Well... yeah, basically. I thought he was your boyfriend.

[You will get a blank stare, Heather. She doesn't know what to feel from what she just said to her.]

I've...never had a boyfriend before and I...don't know anyone by that name, either. It's kinda impossible to be somebody's girlfriend without first meeting them.

[She continues to remember back where she's heard the name before because the girl in front of her looks so sure. Really sure. How could this--wait a minute. Could it be that Zack is her twin's boyfriend? It would make sense, so she begins to laugh a bit.]

Why didn't I realize this sooner? You're both right and wrong, miss. Zack does have a girlfriend, but it isn't me exactly. You see, I believe you've mistaken me for my twin, Aerith. Well...twin might not be the right word because my name is Aerith too. You could say she's my double.

[Nice explanation, Aerith.]

Well, there isn't much to explain because we aren't sure about it ourselves. All I know we're from two completely different worlds and have two complete different lives too. She has a boyfriend, but I've never had a boyfriend before. She doesn't know magic, but I do. Her ribbon was given to her by someone special while my ribbon was given to me by my parents. She wears a blue dress and I wear a pink dress. Other than that, we don't know how this is possible, but I have a theory we're from two alternate realities. It's the only possible answer to all this.

A lot of people have told me the same thing. To be honest, I was confused and surprised to see her when I first came to this world, but I don't have any reason to hate her or anything like that. After all, she is kinda me, right? [She smiles softly at the thought until she giggles.] And it wouldn't be fair to hate her especially when she was in this world first. It'd be silly to have a fight and feel awkward around each other over it.

Well... yeah, but still, it's gotta be bizarre.

It's like some kinda... Twilight Zone thing.

It does feel a bit weird to have a double, but this could prove a lot of fun too.

Please don't tell anyone about my existance, miss. Aerith and I have a few practical jokes in mind to do to a few people and I believe Zack might be one of them. [She giggles a bit, but it doesn't sound as innocent as it should.] I can't wait to finally meet him.

_{[Now that REALLY made Heather blink in surprise. Both Aeriths seemed so innocent! And... non-pranky! But... hey. She grins a little.]}

I know, so don't worry. We've only spoken a few times, but...you thought I was my double and I had a lot of my mind during those times, so asking was the last thing on my mind. Sorry, I guess it's really my fault.
