... Looks pretty different from your average storybook version of one.

Well, that's why they call it the 'storybook' version... bit different from reality.

[And -- huh. Coop's pretty sure he's seen a storybook angel, actually. He's not entirely sure, but he does look distracted and distant for a moment as he tries to place the sudden - memory? insight? realisation?]

[In the end, he settles with just glancing back at the thing. And then studies Heather for a moment and proceeds to make a very good guess.]</sub>

It's from Silent Hill, isn't it?

[Which, with a sigh, she confirms as the creature's place of origin.]</sub>

_{[Although if you wanted to get technical, it wasn't Heather's guardian angel... it belonged to the thing she'd once carried. Realistically put, Valtiel didn't really give much of a crap about Heather herself.]}

[Valtiel, meanwhile, is taste-testing Heather's pillow. With a long, wiry black tongue protruding from the back of his head.]</sub>

[Another moment of silence, then, except for Valtiel. It takes Coop a little longer to get back into his normal pattern of thinking, but once there, he is pretty good at detaching himself. And since the creature doesn't seem too aggressive, well.]</sub>

... How many are there like it?

_{[There probably WERE other gods... but the only ones Heather knew of, knew were REAL in some way, shape, or form, were the ones of the Order. She'd dealt with the biggie... but there was more wrong with that place than just the god that waited to be born.]}
