[Already on the road, the weather's mild enough (even with the wind picking up) that Heather decided that was pretty much a good time to pocket her Valentine's Day present and just head off for a walk. Because lord knows, she needs one.]

[It's not the first time Johto has given everyone the gift of a precious little egg, but it is the first time that Heather's found herself resenting it.]

[The video feed pops on, focused in on a tiny, pale yellow little egg hardly bigger than a chicken's, nestled in the palm of Heather's hand as dry grass goes past underfoot.]</sub>



It would be so easy to just... crush it.

Well, you obviously won't be crushing the egg, though, you might right now to prove me wrong. But that'd be a more impulsive action out of spite. The choice is still entirely up to you. Some of the reactions here are awfully quick to leap to assumptions though.

Because, while I can easily picture you getting some nasty revenge against someone you don't like, you aren't pointlessly cruel against things that don't deserve it. You seem reasonable enough to know crushing it will not impact your situation in any way but make it worse. [ Well, mostly she knows from experience. Heather's type isn't too bad to peg down since her personality, while complex, carries several similarities with other complex personalities that need to balance all facets properly. ]

That and you posted this to the network. This conversation helps my thoughts as well. [ Lust isn't surprised she, to her, chose the better interpretation. Everything she touches is gold. ]

People do bad things for attention sometimes, but, do you really think you're one of them here? [ These things are patterns after all. Even if she may be starting a pattern, it should be easy to at least find. Lust has been spending too much time around humans ): . ]

But I thought we've already went through this. That to declare an action and then preform it whilst alerting everyone, compared to just doing it, isn't cowardice.
